On January 15th, she finished 49th (1st woman) in the bikes category, matching her performance in the 2022 event. We caught up with Mirjam after she returned to the Netherlands. The Dakar Helped Me Move Past My Accident
This year’s edition of the epic off-road event, the Dakar Rally, ended on January 15th. South African rider Kirsten Landman finished 71st in the Bikes category, 12th among the Original by Motul riders. This has been her second adventure in the off-road marathon, and her first attempt at the Original by Motul category, where riders enter the rally without assistance.
