Back in 2020, we interviewed British driver Jessica Edgar as one of the participants in the FIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars program. This year, Jessica became one of the drivers in the inaugural season of F1 Academy. Now during the long break in the season before its final showdown in Austin, we caught up with Jessica to hear about her growth in the past three years.

On May 3, 2023, Annia Cilloniz from Peru became the last woman to go through from the Continental Finals into the Women’s Final. Two days later, she was crowned the champion in the Women’s Final and became the last member of the FIA Rally Star team for the Training Season. The NXT Gen Cup is the world's first 100% electric junior touring car cup founded by Fredrik Lestrup and Lestrup Racing Team. The winner of NXT Gen Cup will be crowned the official Swedish Junior Champion and receive financial support to race in the 2024 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship (STCC). Currently there are two young women among the 11 drivers announced - 15-year-old Swedish driver Louise Larsson and 16-year-old Swedish driver Siri Hökfelt.
