We talked to Juliet Zhu, social media manager of WEC, at the 4 hours of Shanghai, about her journey into this championship.
Maria Herrera: I Want to Clear the Path for Them
Maria Herrera is one of the only two women who have started on the grid of Grand Prix racing and scored points this decade (and this data is set and done since we’ve finished all the Grand Prix of this decade). She started in Moto3 back in 2013 as a wildcard entry at Aragon, then in three races in 2014, then ran for full seasons between 2015 and 2017. In 2018 she went away to race in World SuperSport 300. This year she is back in Grand Prix racing with MotoE World Cup. During Valencia GP, we had the opportunity to team up with EPaddock.it to have a joint interview with Maria on Friday before E-Pole.
Susie Wolff: It’s More Down to Individual Than Gender
Susie Wolff talks about her adventure as team principal of Venturi Formula E Team in 2019/20 pre-season testing.
The Start of a New Journey with Porsche
Formula E fans must be very familiar with Swiss driver Simona de Silvestro, either because of her drive in the gleaming blue Amlin Andretti in season 2015-16, or for her role as test driver under Susie Wolff’s command last season. Not to mention that she’s the first female driver in Formula E to score points. And now her name is affiliated with German car manufacturer Porsche.
Exclusive Interview with MotoGP Presenter Amy Dargan
Subscribers to MotoGP.com's VideoPass or audiences with access to Fox Sports are perhaps very familiar with Amy Dargan. Every race weekend, she brings the stories in the paddock to fans around the world. During Thai GP on the Saturday evening, we had the opportunity to chat with Amy and hear her own story.
‘My best is not good enough’ – Interview with Rookies Cup selection candidate Aditi Krishnan
The Red Bull Rookies Cup selection event for 2020 season took place at Guadix between Oct. 15 and Oct 17. After three days of selection event, 11 young riders were selected and welcomed to 2020 Rookies Cup. Among the over 100 riders being considered at Guadix, three are girls - Raquel Ananda Nogueira Vaz from Brazil, Valentina Martinez Trujillo from Colombia, and Aditi Krishnan from India. Unfortunately, none of the three girls ended up among the 11 selected riders. But what do you expect when the odds of being selected is 10 to 1 you start with only 3% of the field being women. We were lucky enough to be able to catch up with Aditi on the Friday after the selection. She was with her family on a mini vacation in Spain piggy backing off of the selection. We were able to learn a bit more about how she got into racing and her experience so far.
Exclusive Interview with Dorna Event Director Norma Companys
During MotoGP Thai GP race weekend, we had the opportunity to sit down with Dorna's Event Director Norma Companys. In the hectic morning with the rain delaying FP3, we really appreciate Norma's time in sharing her experience as a someone working in the paddock for over a decade. Without her, the races wouldn't be on and championships wouldn't be decided. Ahead of this season's triple-header, let's hear the behind the scene preperation of MotoGP.
Exclusive Interview with Angel Nieto Team Sportive Manager Gino Borsoi
Maria Herrera is currently the only female rider in MotoGP paddock. Even though MotoE does not travel to Thailand, we still take the opportunity to sit down with Angel Nieto Team's Sportive Manager Gino Borsoi on the Friday before Thai GP.
Exclusive Interview with Grace Gui – 2019 W Series Qualifier from China
As the only Chinese driver among the 28 qualifiers in 2019 W Series, Grace Gui is one of the trailblazers in motorsport in China. We had the opportunity to catch up with her to hear her thoughts on her own career, women in motorsport, and the growth of motorsport in China.
Exclusive Interview with Susie Wolff
We caught up with Susie Wolff during FIA Formula E Sanya ePrix. This was before we launched Paddock Sorority and the interview was published as a Chinese translation on a Chinese sports website. We think now is a good time to resurface it for more people to read in its original language.
